Community Events
The MLK Jr. Coalition strives to foster a beloved community by supporting events that are consistent with the ideals expressed by Dr. King Jr. This includes reaching out to our community at the annual Juneteenth Celebration, participating in the 2023 Midwest Black Family Reunion parade and sponsoring the 60th anniversary of the March on Washington. In April, 2018, we produced a forum to mark the 50th anniversary of Dr. King’s assassination. Enjoy a few photos from these events.
